Movement and Mindfulness for Teens

An event every week that begins at 4:30 pm on Thursday, repeating until February 27, 2020
This 3-week series will focus on tools to help teens feel calmer, stronger and more self-aware.
Students will learn mindful breathing techniques along with basic yoga asanas with focused attention.
According to health.harvard.edu: yoga improves balance, strength, endurance and aerobic capacity in kids and teens. Yoga and mindfulness can improve focus, memory, self-esteem, academic performance, classroom behavior and reduce anxiety and stress.
