| $15Qigong (chee kung), which roughly translates as “energy practice”, is an ancient energetic meditation and self-care system. Through regular practice, it can help us navigate modern-day stress with balance, more flow, and inner strength. It combines simple breathing techniques, mental focus, and easy physical postures – either sitting, standing or gently moving. Qigong can (very loosely) be likened to no-impact Tai Chi and produces similar benefits including reduced anxiety, stress relief, improved mental clarity, and balance.
