The Ancestral Womb: Remembering the Wisdom. Releasing What No Longer Serves.

As the veil of autumn deepens and we approach Día de los Muertos and All Souls’ Day, we turn our attention toward those who walked before us.

We are each part of a lineage.

From those who came before, we may inherit stories, traditions, beliefs, ways of loving, ways of surviving, and wisdom that has traveled through generations. Some of what we carry is medicine. Some of it may no longer belong in the life we are creating.

This gathering is an invitation to honor both.

Through somatic womb practices, meditation, reflection, movement, and ritual, we will turn toward our lineage with curiosity and reverence—listening for the wisdom our ancestors have to offer while gently exploring the patterns, stories, and burdens we are ready to stop carrying forward.

What wisdom do you want to remember?
What has been carried for long enough?
What are you ready to release?
What do you choose to carry forward?

We can honor those who came before us without repeating everything that came before us.

We can hold gratitude for the strength that allowed our lineage to survive while choosing a different way forward.

And perhaps there are places where the invitation is simply to say:

Thank you. I honor you. I see what you carried. And this no longer needs to continue through me.

Together, we will create space to remember, grieve, honor, release, and choose anew—trusting that changing the patterns we carry forward can itself be an act of love for those who came before us and those who will come after.

We remember the wisdom.
We honor the stories.
We release what is complete.
We choose what continues.
