Yoga Chakra Series

While we’re all familiar with the physical body, and can easily name the most obvious and important parts – arms, legs, heart, lungs, etc. We’re not usually taught much about our subtle body, the part of us that holds our thoughts, feelings, and memories. The yogic tradition includes an extensive vocabulary to describe the anatomy of our subtle, or energetic body, as well as practices to help us connect with and cleanse this level of our being.

The Chakras are some of the most dynamic and important components of our subtle body, analogous to the organs in our physical body. Each class in this 7 week series will focus on a different major chakra with a discussion of its properties and ways to naturally support it using essential oils and other practices. There will be a 45 min all-levels yoga flow to open and balance the chakra of the week and a closing chakra aligned meditation. Join aromatherapist and yoga teacher Lana Ramer for this unique experience.
