SUMMARY:Somatic Salsa
DESCRIPTION:This class is inspired by my recent love of Latin Dance\, combined with my longer practice of meditation\, movement and creating flow within. \nThe framework of counts and sensual nature of Latin dancing offers a playful container for exploring embodiment\, presence\, and self expression. \nThrough guided movement\, rhythm\, and breath work\, we’ll use salsa inspired movement as a pathway into deeper connection with ourselves\, the music and one another. \nIt is an invitation to listen to your body\, awaken your senses\, and discover the natural conversation between structure and freedom. As we move together\, will explore how rhythm can ground us how movement can liberate us\, and how Dance can become a meditation in motion. \nCome ready to move\, laugh\, connect\, and experience the joy of being fully present in your body. \nThis class is perfect for anybody who might be curious to learn more about Latin dancing and maybe make your way toward a social dance floor. It’s also perfect for dancers who already have technique and experience but want to find more connection to personal energetic styling. Also fun for anyone just looking for a unique activity on a Friday night.
